When a player is not fair play, IE: leaves a game in progress or when he let's time pass by during the selection phase, it will affect his Fairplay level. If he leaves a game 5 times ,he will get a little red sign next to his nickname. [1] As long as this player has this sign, he will not be able to play in the Elo rooms. To remove this red sign, he will have to play a number of games without leaving.

Note: There is currently no way to identify if the player left because of a connection problem or simply because he isn't fair play.

Both cases are unfortunately counted as a lack of fair play.
